7x9 Handwoven Turkish Kilim Rug – Colorful Geometric Anatolian Design – Fine Quality Wool Area Rug

Magic Art is more than a family business — it is the continuation of a tradition passed down through three generations.

Our story began in Turkey, rooted in the rich weaving traditions of Anatolia and shaped by the historic atmosphere of Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar. We grew up surrounded by antique rugs, kilims, textiles, handcrafted decorative pieces, merchants, collectors, and artisans. From an early age, we learned how to recognize quality, understand craftsmanship, appreciate traditional weaving, and see the difference between an ordinary piece and one with true character, history, and soul.

For generations, our family has worked with Turkish rugs, antique kilims, decorative arts, and handcrafted home furnishings. One of the most important parts of our work has always been discovering exceptional pieces with history, individuality, and lasting beauty.

Over the years, we have traveled through different regions of Anatolia, searching for old rugs, antique kilims, traditional textiles, and unique handmade pieces that reflect the colors, symbols, techniques, and weaving traditions of Turkey. Many of these pieces were created decades ago by skilled weavers using methods and patterns passed down through generations.

We are especially drawn to rugs and kilims with beautiful natural aging, distinctive motifs, unusual color combinations, fine workmanship, and a story behind them. Rather than simply following trends, we look for pieces with warmth, authenticity, character, and timeless appeal.

Today, from our store in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Magic Art brings this family heritage together with a carefully curated collection of antique and vintage rugs, kilims, Turkish mosaic lamps, chandeliers, textiles, and decorative objects.

Santa Fe feels like a natural home for our collection. Its appreciation for craftsmanship, history, art, texture, and one-of-a-kind pieces connects beautifully with the traditions we grew up with in Turkey.

Every rug, kilim, lamp, and decorative piece we offer is selected with care. We pay close attention to craftsmanship, materials, color, design, age, condition, and overall character. Some pieces are newly made by skilled artisans, while others carry decades of history and the beautiful imperfections that make authentic vintage and antique pieces truly unique.

For us, these are not simply home accessories. A beautiful rug can become the heart of a room. An antique kilim can bring warmth, history, and character into a modern space. A mosaic lamp can transform an interior through color, light, and handcrafted detail.

After three generations in this business, our passion remains the same: discovering remarkable pieces, preserving the beauty of traditional craftsmanship, and helping our customers find something truly special for their homes.

From the weaving traditions of Anatolia and the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul to our home today in Santa Fe, our family’s story continues through every piece we carefully select and share.

Welcome to Magic Art — a collection shaped by three generations of experience, tradition, craftsmanship, and a lifelong appreciation for beautiful things.
